<p>I wanted to share something I used, and even though it may not be a new idea, it was for me. I have many, many quilts that were pieced by my Mom&#8217;s mom and the quilting finished years later by my Dad&#8217;s Mom. These are treasures to me. I even have some I have quilted. Unfortunately, most of the things that were used for function in his youth, have been replaced by the modern era. I have an aunt that still lives at the home place. She has taken the old iron kettle, which was used to cook and heat water many years ago, and gave it new meaning. </p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I wanted to share an idea of reinvention. Porch boards are very  popular, but can be very expensive. I recently took scraps and  reinvented them into a new creation. Though this idea is done with a  Farmhouse Look, it could easily be done to fit any style.</p>
