Living in a house full of windows I was on the quest to bring the outside in! Surrounded myself with tons of plants and wanted to incorporate gemstones – in a different way.

I bought these vases from dollar tree (!!) and over the year slowly collected gemstones in various colors. As you can see I still have a few more to go but I wanted to share my progress picture.

Would love to see any other ideas about how to use natural materials in a non-traditional way.

I love this idea! And your color choices for the stones. I think I may want to try this and layer some stones. I love the DT score on the vases but where did you get the stones?

Great! Thank you for sharing the links. I’ll be sure to come back and post pictures when I’m done.

Emily, your wall of stones and glass is absolutely beautiful! I think this will inspire me and many others to try this!! Love the colors. I feel like I’m at the beach.

I absolutely LOVE how the presentation is so clean yet creates high impact! This combination of “balance” and “impact” is exactly what design is all about! I will definitely be trying this!

The light from the windows is awesome in that I imagine as the day goes by the light hits differently and at the end of the day is softened to a glow. I would love to see how others incorporate this in their decor.
