I found some antique wallpaper remnants online (this was is from late 1800’s) and thought it would be perfect to frame. This piece was actually used as a sample to show in the store front. It is hand painted and has writing on the back with customer name. I love the history there!

Hard to capture with the glare – I will post another shot.

What are some other items you have hung in your home that is not traditional art?

We have been collecting Royal Copenhagen plates for years – we grouped them together for impact.

I love the idea. I would never have thought about framing a piece of wallpaper. That’s a unique idea. So often, you see the same art from house to house. I like being original, and this fits that bill!

    Linda,

I love the way you’ve used the plates on your wall! I have an Aunt who has about 25 all tucked away in boxes. I am going to share your idea with her. (You can’t enjoy the things we buy, if they are buried or hidden!).
